Well I don’t think so, as long as she doesn’t choke on it, it’s okay. To be honest I didn’t even know there was different types of food for younger and older cats, until my friend told me. By when I found out well it was too late, my cat was already grown up. When I got my cat he was a little kitten, and we use to add a little milk to the dry food to make it soft, but well he kind of did the same thing as yours, except that he would looked for the bag of cat food and try to eat it. He preferred the food without milk after he discovered it.
